Features of constant current power supply and constant voltage power supply:
The constant current type:
a) The constant current driver can provide a constant current to the LED lighting, and the ideal internal resistance of constant current power supply is infinite
b) The constant current circuit is not afraid of short-circuiting the load, but it is strictly forbidden to open the load completely.
c) The constant current driving method can prevent the driving current from exceeding the maximum rated value, thereby effectively improving its reliability, ensuring that the LED meets the expected brightness requirements, and the brightness and chromaticity are consistent, which effectively extending the service life.
The constant voltage type:
a) The constant voltage driver can provide a constant voltage to the load. The ideal constant voltage source was with zero internal resistance and cannot be short-circuited:
b) The voltage stabilizing circuit is not afraid of load opening, but it is strictly forbidden to short-circuit the load completely.
c) If the LED is driven by a voltage-stabilizing drive circuit, each string needs to add a suitable resistance to make each string of LEDs to make the brightness to be uniform.
d) The brightness will be affected by the voltage change from the rectification.
