T8 G5 Pin LED tube light, which is with T8 lamp body and G5 pin end cap, is for replacement of old T5 fluorescent tube light. With the T8 size body, it is can be higher wattage, output and larger emitting area than normal T5 tube light. And because of the larger size, it is better heat sink than T5 tube light. If your are higher request on these while you have only T5 bracket, you should choose this one!
